We were back in Wayanad, more specifically at Tranquil Resort for the 17th time. Got about 7 lifers and some old fellas as well.

The most fascinating one was the Pitta. I’ve been chasing this one for over a year now. Was glad to have got some decent shots of this one as they are always hiding under thick foliage.

Life-time species number 190 – Gray-fronted Green Pigeon.

191 – Black-throated Munia.

192 – Malabar Woodshrike.

193 – Speckled Piculet.

194 – Malabar Barbet.

195 – Southern Hill Myna.

Some other usual suspects – Orange-headed Thrush.

Tickell’s Blue Flycatcher.

Blue-capped Rock-Thrush.

Plum-headed Parakeet.

Vernal hanging Parrot.

Indian Blackbird.

Greater racket-tailed Drongo.

Brown-capped Woodpecker.
