The Malabar starling (Sturnia blythii) is a species of starling found in southwestern India. It was previously considered a subspecies of the chestnut-tailed starling. Brightly-colored starling with a smooth “silky” appearance. The Male has a sharply contrasting white head and orange underparts. The Female is plainer, with less contrast, and white is restricted to the forehead.

I set out to capture a perfect frame for a friend and this is what I got.
