I’ll be honest. I hate their cousin’s calling. Whether it isĀ did he do it or pity to do it, I just hate it. These guys, the Yellow-wattled Lapwings, are bearable. Just about.
Also, since they aren’t as common as their cousins, I was happy to shoot them at Hesaraghatta lake on a gloomy Monday morning.
They were at least a dozen of them flocking together on the lake bed.
Since this didn’t really necessitate a post of its own, here’s a quick tip on what happens with a slight change of angle. The image on the left is taken with me standing up and the one on the right is me completely lying down on the floor. Move the slider for comparison. Notice the difference?
